I can’t believe that I would ever say that we are living in uncertain times, but we are. Everything about our daily lives has been affected and possibly changed forever. As creatives, it’s important for us to spread positivity and smiles now more than ever. People are helping out wherever they can. Whether it’s making face masks or greeting cards, we all have the ability to help.
In this time, for me, it’s important to focus on being a creative and not a demonstrator. What are my plans during this time and what can you do?
- Send RAK (random acts of kindness) cards. I joined a group on Facebook that is dedicated to sending RAK cards and requested cards.
- Bring out those old stamp sets and papers that you haven’t used in a while. I have a ton of DSP and stamps that I haven’t used and I am going to take this time and just play.
- Create some digital cards that people can download. It’s hard to get out of the house for some people. I want people to still have the ability to send out Easter cards and other encouraging cards to others.
- I am going to put together some completed card kits so people can have cards at hand to send to their love ones.
My focus is to be creative during this time and keep my mind business. There is so much negativity going around and I just want to remain as carefree as possible. This is a tough time for everyone. Let’s be grateful for our health and what we can do to bring joy to others!
